Ranger is a 7 yrs old black lab mix. He is gentle and lovable, up to date on all his shots, neutered and great with kids. He is crate trained, you can take toys, unwanted objects out of his mouth, and he's fairly good on a leash. ( He was a lot better when we walked him all the time, but we have a very large yard so we rarely walk him now.)

He has had obedience training. He knows many commands. He had his good citizenship certificate when he was younger. We think he would do best in a home where he is the only pet. He has a strong prey drive, so although he has lived with cats all his life, he needs to be supervised with them. He will chase them if they run and he will bark at them, but he has never snapped or bitten any of my cats.

Ranger is a very sweet and lovable dog. He weighs about 65 pounds, and he's getting gray. He would do best with a family that enjoy the outdoors. He loves to hike and swim.
