Dodger is an 8 week old boxer mix puppy. One of our volunteers was approached by a woman and her son in Baltimore City who asked for $5 to get their puppy food. The volunteer looked at the puppy and knew it was really sick and in need of much more then dog food. He explained that the puppy was very sick and that treatment could cost hundreds of dollars. He traded them a Ravens helmet and 3 ravens tickets for the puppy and rushed it to the vet, who said it was days from death. It spent 2 weeks at the vets and is now in foster care . He is doing beautifully and once his coat grows in will be perfectly healthy.
