**Please Note: We are only able to adopt within 30-40 miles of Baltimore, MD.**

Seal is only one a large litter of puppies who needs a new home. He's very sweet, but he has a congenital birth defect that has caused one of his front legs to be crooked. We are seeking medical attention for him that will probably include surgery, so we don't know how soon he will be able to be adopted.

UPDATE: Seal had his surgery on 3/29/11. After a rough couple of days he is doing amazingly well. He is eating well, playful, wanting to move around, he is bearing weight on his legs.

UPDATE 5/10/11: Seal is making good progress and growing. The corrected legs are working quite well for him but he still needs to work on fully developing his muscles.  It is so wonderful to see him standing, walking, reaching and playing with all four legs!  He has been amazing in his ability to cope with all his veterinary care and his activity restrictions.  He is happy, playful, affectionate and very social.  

UPDATE 6/15/11: Seal is now “working out” on the underwater treadmill to build his muscles.  Seal is steadily gaining strength and is walking better and farther every day. He is even very cooperative with his exercises (such as 3 leg stand, handstand, ladder walking, stairs).  Seal loves meeting people and other dogs.  He is creative with his interactions and play – nothing is slowing him down!  We are so pleased to see what a happy, playful, able and smart dog this special puppy is showing himself to be!
