Two weeks after Cappy came into rescue, her harsh previous life caught up with her. She suddenly couldn't use her back legs. She was diagnosed with two ruptured disks which required surgery to repair. Cappy is recuperating very well and is ready for her new home. Her pictures tell the story of her recovery from when she first came home from surgery and couldn't stand at all, to seven weeks later when she started walking on her own. Because Cappy was not socialized as a puppy, she is easily frightened by unexpected noises and unknown objects. We feel she would be happiest in a calm and quiet environment where she will feel safe. Cappy will require a fenced yard.
