**Please Note: We are only able to adopt in the state of Maryland and southern Pennsylvania.**

Jethro is a happy and affectionate dog. He's an escape artist and will require a serious fence to keep him safe. He loves other dogs and kids and is looking for a home where he'll get a lot of attention.

None of our foster families have a 6-foot fence which is what Jethro requires to keep him from escaping. We have been forced to place him in a kennel where he can be kept safe. He is not doing well at the kennel because he loves people (including children) and thinks he’s a lapdog. He really misses being in a home and is becoming extremely depressed at the kennel. He’s housebroken and gets along great with other dogs, but his high prey drive prevents him from being placed with cats. Jethro is a wonderful and sweet dog whose main issue is that his hound nose is getting him into trouble and leading him astray.
