My name is Precious. I wasn't treated like I was precious as I was growing up. I was hit by a car and instead of taking me to a vet to get my leg fixed, they just tied me back to the tree I had escaped from. They bred me when I was really too young to have puppies and they never treated my "dry eyes" so  now I'm blind. They starved me and fed me the wrong kinds of food and I got intestinal parasites.

Now that I have been rescued, I'm being treated like I am precious. Even with all the bad things that have happened to me, I still wag my tail when someone gives me attention. I think most people are wonderful and I'm ready to put my past behind me and make someone a very sweet and loving companion. I get around pretty well, but I will need a yard with a physical fence since I can't see where I'm going.
